The Office of the Vice-President Research, the University SSHRC Leader, and Government Relations invite you to a virtual Town Hall with Dr. Ted Hewitt, President of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

The Town Hall will include short presentation by Dr. Hewitt, as well as an open question and answer session. The Town Hall will also feature a 30-minute panel discussion focused on community-engaged research and the social impact of research with three USask SSHRC researchers that will be moderated by University SSHRC Leader Dawn Wallin. The panelists are:

  • Joanne Leow, Assistant Professor, Department of English
  • Bram Noble, Professor, Department of Geography and Planning
  • Alex Wilson, Professor, Department of Educational Foundations
